Golden Bells Public School was established in 1984 at Sector 35, Chandigarh.Under the Dynamic Leadership of the the Founder Principal, Mrs.Gurjit Bawa, and the sincere efforts of the staff, the school has prospered by leaps and bounds. It was registered under the Societies Registration Act in 1985 with the name "Golden Bells Schooling Society". Society members are from varied fields and contribute their expertise in various fields for keeping the schools staff updated and abreast with the fast changing trends in education. It is a non-profitable organization spreading its wings for the benefit of the Society at large. In April 1986, School was recognized by the Education Department, U.T. Chandigarh. Today, School at Mohali is spread over 4.25 acres of land allotted by PUDA and is affiliated to C.B.S.E., New Delhi for Senior Secondary School Examinations with Science and Commerce streams.

and ensuring an atmosphere of freedom in which children feel motivated and inspired to explore,
investigate, raise doubts, collect evidence, judge its correctness and arrive at reliable conclusions on
their own. Nurtured with the indispensable values of love, kindness and tolerance. Every student is

Our school is one of the most outstanding educational institutes of Mohali, established in the year
1984. Golden Bells Public School is putting up sincere efforts in preparing accomplished citizens of our
society. Most illuminating among other aims and objectives are our endeavour to make necessary
arrangements to infuse moral, intellectual, physical and economic fervor among the students on the
basis of Indian culture religious grants and to strive hard to prepare ideal citizens of future India.

EDUCATION should teach students to search for knowledge within the depths of one’s soul. It should
make an individual more refined and cultured. For this, most fundamental educational force in learning
process is not the curriculum, nor the methods and strategies used, but the amount of motivation
possessed or generated. To learn effectively is to learn under true motivation. To promote the great
mission of teaching and strengthen the power of our educational system, we need to have dedicated
staff, cooperative parents and students with positive and motivated attitude to learn.

For this everyone should be committed because a person becomes successful and achieves greatness by
sheer commitment, self-discipline and hard work and this is what is taught to Goldenites.
